経歴
福島県立医科大学卒業。大学病院や関連病院で皮膚科研修後、皮膚科/美容皮膚科クリニック院長を歴任。2015年4月あざみ野ヒルズスキンクリニック開院。2018年4月医療法人社団光悠会を設立し、理事長に就任。2022年3月に医療法人社団光悠会 ヒルズグレイスクリニックを開院し、院長に就任した。2019年には、日本で唯一のResearch and Training centerに認定。同年からレーザー機器最大手CynoSure社のAdvisory board Memberに日本人で唯一任命され、CynosureのGlobal KOLとして、またInternational Speakerとして、国際的な場で情報発信と技術の普及に力を注いでいる。
2021年には、開発段階より携わったPICOSURE proが誕生。その第１号機を有し、世界に先駆けて驚くべき症例を次々と発表している。2022年には、PICOSURE proとPOTENZAを組み合わせた独自の治療プログラムCynoGlowを発表。ニキビや毛穴の新しい治療法として、全世界から高い関心を集めている。2022年には、日本で唯一となるCynoSure Prestige Clinicに認定され、レーザー機器世界最大手企業とのパートナーシップが実現した。さらに、「Sofwave」を用いた独自の治療法であるサーマルスレッドテクニック（Thermal Thread Technique, TTT）を考案。この技術は、皮膚のコラーゲン再生に着目し、自然な若返り効果を提供するもので、ダウンタイムの少ないリフトアップ治療を実現。TTTの効果は、米国レーザー医学会（ASLMS）の学術雑誌「Lasers in Surgery and Medicine」に論文として掲載され、その成果は国際的に発信されている。
加えて、Global Medical Institute（GMI）を設立。GMIは、美容医療の分野における最新技術の研究・教育・普及を目的とした国際的な医療教育機関であり、世界中の医師や医療専門家と連携し、最新の治療法や技術を実践的に学べるトレーニングプログラムを提供している。GMIは、美容医療の技術革新を促進し、世界規模で医療の質を高めるための中核的な拠点を担っている。

In 2021, I was involved in the development of the latest laser technology, “PICOSURE pro,” which allows us to achieve excellent results with fewer treatment sessions compared to conventional lasers. With my experience in laser treatments and unique techniques, I aim to guide you to beautiful skin in the shortest possible time.
Background
After graduating from Fukushima Medical University, Dr. Kentaro Oku completed his dermatology training at university hospitals and affiliated institutions. He then served as the director of several dermatology and aesthetic dermatology clinics. In April 2015, he founded Azamino Hills Skin Clinic. In April 2018, he established the Koyu Medical Corporation and became its chairman. In March 2022, he opened Hills Grace Clinic under the same corporation and took on the role of its director. In 2019, his clinic was recognized as the only Research and Training Center in Japan. That same year, he became the only Japanese physician appointed as an Advisory Board Member for CynoSure, the world’s leading laser device manufacturer. As CynoSure’s Global Key Opinion Leader and an International Speaker, Dr. Oku actively disseminates information and promotes advanced techniques on international platforms.
In 2021, Dr. Oku played a pivotal role in the development of the PICOSURE Pro, and his clinic was the first in the world to introduce it, leading to the presentation of groundbreaking cases. In 2022, he launched the unique treatment program “CynoGlow,” which combines PICOSURE Pro and POTENZA, drawing global attention as a new approach to treating acne and pores. That same year, his clinic was recognized as Japan’s first CynoSure Prestige Clinic, solidifying a strategic partnership with the world’s leading laser device company. Additionally, he developed the Thermal Thread Technique (TTT), an innovative treatment using Sofwave technology. This technique focuses on collagen regeneration to deliver natural rejuvenation effects, offering a non-invasive lift with minimal downtime. The effectiveness of TTT has been documented in a paper published in the journal Lasers in Surgery and Medicine by the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), and its results are being shared globally.
Furthermore, Dr. Oku established the Global Medical Institute (GMI), an international medical education organization dedicated to the research, education, and dissemination of the latest techniques in aesthetic medicine. GMI collaborates with physicians and medical professionals worldwide, offering practical training programs on cutting-edge treatments and technologies. GMI serves as a central hub for promoting innovation in aesthetic medicine and enhancing the quality of care on a global scale.
